eye color; Amber
hair color; Blonde
height; 5 foot 6
weight; 115
distinguishing features; She’s a vampire, a.k.a perfect looking
scars/tattoos; No
overall;
Kate is attractive, to say the least, and her beauty is what people of her heritage are known for. Like many of her mother’s family, Sierra is a blonde. She looks like her mother, whom Sierra thinks is the prettiest of her aunts. (daughterly bias) She used to hate her wavy/ curly hair because it wasn’t really either. It was not exactly wavy, but not completely curly either. But as she grew older, she came to decide her hair was quite pretty just the way it is.
Kate’s eyes are her favorite thing about herself. She loves them more than her hair, more than her memory, more than her way with words. She remebers when her eyes were bright red, and she never wnats to go back to that. The changing amber of ehr eyes is, in her opinion the prettiest color in the world. And she even has a slight hit of her old ice blue eyes, making them a slightly different amber brown than the other vegitarian vampires.
Kate’s height is nothing spectacular. At five foot six inches tall, she is about as tall as the other girls her 'age'. Her skin tone is ivory, which is common for vampires. When she was human and in the sun for extended amounts of time, she wouldn't tan. Well, in the end she did. But first she burned. And when she got sun burnt, she gets burnt with a capital B. She used to have freckles, but absolutely none on her face, only a few on her neck, but many many on her body and limbs. but the vampirism changed that.

By her looks, you would think Kate would be the typical tree hugger type, sweet, soft spoken, kind. Not Kate. She is a nice enough girl. She enjoys being helpful, but it’s on her time and her rules. Her appearance is a little deceiving. She comes off sweet and passive, but often surprises everyone by how strong willed and independent she is. And, like most everyone, she makes jokes that can seem mean but aren’t meant to he hateful.
She is the last child in her family, so sometimes she plays the poor picked on little girl quite well. She doesn’t like to having to share her personal things, and that includes her feelings. She isn’t a touchy feely kind of person and rarely hugs anyone. The urge to shock is too much for her to handle some times. Another thing she has gotten from being an only is her strong willed independence. She can handle being alone and enjoys spending time reading.
Like all people, she isn’t perfect. She has a hint of the pompous nature her father had so she sometimes seems stuck up. She jokes a lot and sometimes is unable to be serious. She has the problem with judging people; again, it’s her father’s fault being accidentally passed to her.

my biography;
Daniel Wilkins, fresh out of college, couldn’t believe his luck. He still couldn’t believe that he’d gotten an all expenses paid trip to study in Finland, and that he’d been there for nearly a year. He couldn’t believe the people. They were so nice, and were more than happy to accept the twenty-three year old Yankee. But most of all he couldn’t believe that he was now kneeling over the alter, being lawfully married to the beautiful blonde staring back at him, tears of joy glistening in her bright blue eyes. Daniel Wilkins couldn’t believe that the gorgeous girl was now legally his wife. That she was now know as Taija Wilkins, Mrs. Danny Wilkins. He couldn’t believe that he now got o wake up every morning to her pretty from lying next to him, hear the way she said ‘Danny’ in her thick accent when she spoke English with him, English he had taught her and her family.
Danny and Taija lived quite happily as a newly married couple for three years until the birth of their first child. Born on Valentine’s Day, Daniel Wilkins Jr. was the stereotypical first child. He was loud and never seemed to stop, almost polar opposite to his sister that joined the family just two years later on the first day of summer. Anja Wilkins was a sweet calm little baby, their gift from God for dealing with Danny. Two years later, almost to the day, Taija had another baby girl, called Sanna. Most of Daniel’s family told them it would be best to stop having children, as three was more than enough. But Taija had come from a large family herself, being the fourth of seven, and her and Danny knew they were going to have a big family. And two years later, the first day of September brought their count of children from three to five. The new twins, named Raakel and Peter, brought joy to everyone, even the family that had told them to stop having children. Danny and Danny Jr. were especially excited that there would be another male in the house.
When the twins were about a year old, Danny and Taija decided that moving to American would be best for the family. Much to the older children’s dismay, they sold their house and moved the family to Daniel’s hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. Sofia was born a year later, the first of the kids born in the states. Her older siblings were all technically citizens of Finland, but she was American, like her dad. On Cinco de Mayo, a relatively new holiday to the Wilkins’, a baby girl joined the family. Taija thought it would be nice to let her oldest kids, now ages ten and eight name the new baby. Danny Jr. thought Kate would be a cute name for the tiny baby his mom brought home.
Katrina Hannale Wilkins, called Kate, was the perfect way to end the now big family. She was unique, even to a family that had seen so many personalities. She seemed to be a great balance of all her siblings. She didn’t give up, like Danny, and she knew how to be quiet, like Anja. She and Sanna always got along great, and her, Peter, and Raakel, were a regular laugh riot when they got together. The only one of her siblings that Kate didn’t really get along with was Sofie. Mom always said it was because they were close in age and very close in looks. But sisters will be sisters. And Kate never had a shortage on sisters
Kate grew up well in Anchorage, living quite happily in her father’s childhood home. She is, and always had been, a simple girl. It didn’t take much to make her happy. She never liked being spoiled witch worked with her middle class family and her fathers teaching job. Another reason Sofie and Kate never got along is Sofie was a spoiled brat, at least that’s what Kate always had to tell her growing up. Aside from Sofie, Kate got along with nearly everyone she met. Grade school was normal for Kate. She had friends got good grades, and of course she was teased slightly. Kate, having been taught to speak by her Finnish mother, so she had a slight accent and annoying 10-year-old boys enjoyed calling her on it. But they soon learned to leave the Wilkins alone, as there were six of them and the oldest was ten yeas their senior.
Those annoying boys left her alone, and Kate had good experiences all through school up until ninth grade. Then she met a boy, so seemingly perfect he appeared to be a god. And Kate never understood why he was perusing her. All of Kate’s sisters thought he was bad news, and Peter and Danny weren’t around to help Anja, Sanna, and Raakel drive him away. The boy, Tyler, was two years older, and soon asked her out. This made Sofie unbearable, but Kate was having the time of her life with him. He made her feel like she was important, one of a kind, and that was rare for her being the youngest in such a big family. And him being a junior, he could drive and took her to all the high school parties. And everyone knows what goes on at parties. Tyler convinced Kate to drink, and one thing lead to another, and that night, in the back of Tyler’s car, Kate lost her virginity.
To make maters worse, two months later, she found out she was pregnant. Barely fifteen and now her life was completely over over, at least that’s what she thought. Kate was convinced her Dad and Mom would kill her, and that would be after Sofie said about a million “I told you so”s. And it was all Kate could do to keep Danny and Peter from killing Tyler. Young and Naïve, she was still convinced he loved her. She was wrong, dead wrong. As Tyler dumped her when she told him, and convinced his parents to move away. These were the lowest times in her life. Fifteen, pregnant, and alone, she was very depressed. Her family noticed immediately, as Kate was normally a very happy person. They began to talk about what to do with the baby. Arrangements were made for an adoption agency to take the baby once it was born.
Nine months later, Kate gave birth to a pretty baby boy. Who looked exactly like Tyler. Kate couldn’t take it. She wouldn’t even hold him, and had them take him to the social worker immediately. Three days later, Kate was able to leave the hospital, and she left all thoughts of the child behind her. She couldn’t wait to get back to a normal life. But even that didn’t get to happen. That very night, a couple of burglars broke into her families’ home. Kate had to sit an watch as they killed each member of her family. The ringleader turned to shoot her, but was scared by the sound of a approaching sirens. He fired anyway, and hit her in the stomach. It wasn’t enough to kill her, but she knew she was going to die. By the time the ambulance had come, she’d fainted from loss of blood. The police assumed she was dead too, medical help wasn’t that great then, and simply covered her with a sheet like the others, to wait for the funeral.
But a member of the clean up crew, a gorgeous woman, knew she was alive. She could hear the faint beat of the girls heart. Pretending to be finishing up, she sent away her coworkers and bit the girl’s neck, changing her. She carried the now writhing body to her van, and took the girl home. Three days later, once the burning stopped, Kate woke up. The woman told her some crazy story about vampires and how Kate now was one. At first Kate thought she was just some crazy lunatic, and Kate got up to leave. That’s when she caught sight of a beautiful creature with bright red, slightly purple eyes. The creature was her, Kate Wilkins. She was perfect. Over the next few months, Kate adjusted to the new face and the woman. There were other people there, with stories similar to Kate’s. Her sisters, as these people were now her family. She even took their last name as hers, Denali.
