Bennet Academy
Paris, France. Pretty nice place, don’t you agree? Well, its home to one of the most prestigious academies, and it just so happens to be very hard to get in to. The three factors your acceptance depends on are your age, money and talent. Got neither and aren't between the ages of 14 and 18? You’re not going to get in. Got both and in between those ages? You’re definitely in. But then again, not everyone knows of this school. You’ve got to be exceptionally big in the world to know about it. Some kids heard of it through friends and family though, and have made it only because of their talent. Or the other way around; they only made it because of their money. Parents are more likely to send their children here if they attended once, which also boosts their chances of getting in. Hey, if your parents and your grandparents attended, you might as well just move there before hearing word back. They like the good word the families are giving the school, thus treating them well to keep that. What school doesn’t like some influential clients?
Now for the students, cliques are their main priority. They need to keep them in order, especially the scenes kids and the preps. Never will they be seen together. Everyone knows of their rivalry and how serious it is. The scene kids will do anything to sabotage the important things to preps, like the athletic games and possibly even a wardrobe. The preps will do the same, tainting their hairspray and ruining their attire. But it goes much farther than that too. Not at the school though. Why risk their scholarship? Of course, you don’t have to be in those cliques. And if you’re not, where do you fit in?
